Want to install new tv sound system in Brave

I would like to install a new Bose tv system and want to conceal cabling as much as possible. As per the 2002 32 Brave parts list it shows a panel- overhead/Driver and one for Passenger. Is it possible to remove that and store my cables behind one of them?

I had a 2003 Brave. I don't remember a panel above the driver or passenger. There is room behind the two overhead storage compartments. I used that area for additional space for cables. You can also partially remove the top of the storage cabinets and there is room between the top of the storage compartments and the roof.

Hope that helps.

You can take the TV out and have access to all of that space. Those panels are vinyl covered trim panels. I took the TV out and then cut in a couple 2" grommets with a hole saw. I also added a duplex receptacle on the TV side of the compartment and plugged the TV in there rather than plugging it in to the receptacle on the inside of the compartment. I also added 12 volt DC cigarette style sockets in each compartment. If you don't have the inverter you can use the provided 12 vdc cable for other uses. You can leave a pull string between compartments to change cables later with out removing the TV.
