Water System

Hi all. New to rving. My first coach. 2002 Winnebago Journey 32t. I am trying to flush the potable water system via city water. I turned the bypass valves to city water. Hooked up a hose and started turning on the faucets. Got antifreeze out of the hot and cold faucets in the galley, shower and toilet then clear water. Not a whole lot but clear water. Got antifreeze from the bathroom fixtures but when the antifreeze stopped there was no pressure and no water. I looked at everything I could think of but no luck. Am I missing something? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a usually winterize valve on the water heater to eliminate the need to add 10 or 15 gallons of antifreeze. On my Journey, some of the bathroom fixtures are fed from tubing behind the valve. Make sure it is returned to the normal position and you should have normal water flow. Make sure the 2 hot water bypass valves (1 by the water pump and 1 next to the hot water heater) are on "normal operation". Open up pressure relief valve to assure you have water in your hot water heater. Try to run water at the outdoor shower bay.

Turn main hose connection to tank fill. You should hear water entering the tank. After a few minutes try turning on the water pump and see if you get water.

If still no water my guess is a broken check valve.

I'm embarrassed to say that was the problem. In my defense ( if there is any) The winters antifreeze ran through the screens, giving me the preclusion that they were clear. How that stuff got through is beyond me because they were absolutely packed. Thanks for the suggestions and all is well.
