Weeping sinks, wet cabinets

We have a new 2015 Winnebago towable 30 RESS. We are experiencing a problem we have never seen in any of our previous RV's. The sinks that are in this unit seem to be made of a plastic composition. Look great and cleanup easily. However, if the cabinets are closed the sinks seem to attract moisture, resulting in a general wetness in the door and walls of the cabinet. If we empty the cabinets and leave them open they don't weep. Could be a problem with the size and tightness of the cabinets, and the fact that it is rather humid here in central Florida. Anybody else see this problem.

Admin: Can this post be crossed to TT?

I would suspect that your problem is due to condensation as the outside of the sink heats and cools. Since it is under the cabinet and out of site if it were mine I would try spraying the bottom of the sink with some type of foam insulation. You might also want to see if you can install some type of vent under the cabinet.

Both good suggestions, and ones I had already considered. I really put this up here to see if anybody else had a similar experience. I had a similar experience in a fifth wheel we had. Venting the cabinet helped in that case. Not a lot of ways to go in venting a sink installed in an island.

Thanks for your reply.
