Where can I sell my motorhome?
I have a 2009 Winnebago Vista 26P, 27' Class A [Mod Edit]
Any ideas as to who buys, dealers (who?), sell myself (where?, publications? etc).

We chose a local consignment dealer who also advertises on RV Trader. We didn't want to deal with no-shows, test drives and all the other hassles that go with buying a big ticket item. It took nearly 20-mos to get it sold.

There's a classifieds here, second line down from the top in the middle L-R. Facebook marketplace and craigslist are easy to search whatever area you want, so you'll get plenty of exposure, too much exposure maybe. Expect hundreds of replies, dozens of second replies, and a couple people to show up in person to look at it. Couldn't tell you where to take it for a dealer sale.

Do you remember any of the details.
Roughly what were the terms of the consignment contract?
What did you think about the price?
Did they keep it clean during that period or did you have to?
Do you think a different location would have helped sell faster?

Sure.
The initial consignment was for 12-mos. They would handle all the details...display the coach in their showroom; advertise locally and online on their website and on RV Trader; handle all the sales details; handle the local walk-ins, vet any buyer, arrange financing and handle the closing for 10% of the final sale price.
Our coach was center square in their showroom from day 1. The only mistake we...I...made was mis-judging the market. Sale took ~18-mos. We should've put it up for sale when we returned home from our winter quarters that first spring of Covid in 2020. If you recall the used RV market was red hot. We were selling because after 36-seasons it became too much for me to handle alone as my wife wasn't able to help much. But by the time we made our final decision in the summer of '22 the market had cooled way down.
Of course we did not get our listing price but we thought it was a fair price given the slow market. We really liked not having to do squat. No dealing with phone calls, no-shows from casual looky-lou's, vetting buyers, dealing with closing, etc. Yup, this was absolutely the way to go.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details. It does sound like the best way to go. 10% seems like a good deal.
