Where did Winnebago Destination/Itsacsa Latitude stand in the gas line up?

Hi,

Was it mid or high end?

Generally speaking, a "lineup" usually means the various price points, from lowest to highest. Traditionally, the WBGO Adventurer and the Itasca Suncruiser were the most expensive gassers from Forest City.

I believe the UFO-based coaches you ask about where very close, if not slightly more expensive, than the twins I mentioned. I'm sure the R-26 UFO chassis cost more than the W-24 front engine chassis. I also believe the same Destination and Latitude models built on the FCCC chassis (DP) were more than any gasser, but where likely less than "most" of their DP lineup.

I think Ed is exactly right. IMO the Destination and Latitude were a step up from the Adventurer and Suncruiser. The UFO chassis coaches gave many owners a look and feel similar to an entry level DP without as much cost.

I know it's been said here a hundred times but it really is too bad that WCC stopped building motorhome chassis in 2010. Think of what a front or rear engined Duramax powered coach would be like. With the discontinuation of the 8.1 maybe WH and GM could have come up with a DMax combo or even a turbo charged LS powertrain.

All wishful thinking.

Thanks Ed and Tom,

Thats what I guessed but did not want to be presumptive.

I have about 800 miles on mine so far and the ride and handling are outstanding.

Both my wife and I love the coach.

I replaced the main tv last week with a 40inch and doing the bedroom with a 32inch model.

I get the coach back from Big Foot on friday and will then add 440Ah of Lifeline AGMS.

To be honest the coach was a good bit more than what we wanted to spend but glad we did so :-)

TV looks great and I know you will love the 440ah AMG’s. Great choice.

Thanks Tom,

I sm sure glad I went for 440AH, I had ordered 300AH and changed my order.

The flat screen makes a big difference.
