We are at a WIT campout and one of members had his isolation relay fail on the way. It still clicks, but doesn't charge the house batteries with engine running. We can here it click above the battery compartment in the bedroom. We looked in and under the narrow storage area under window, only heating and cooling ducts there.

On my 2005 Horizon the Isolation relay is in the electrical compartment behind the rear axle driver side. On the upper right hand side is a black box with a cover on it, behind which the relay is housed. Quite a few people have had these go bad including me. There is an extensive threat regarding this problem.

I would first look in the compartment where all of the DC coach circuit breakers and relays are, and if its not there then it would most likely be located close to the batteries. It needs to switch power at a major distribution point or directly at the batteries. It certainly should not be buried in some hard to access location as it is a serviceable item. Its a really bad maintenance design if it is buried.
