Where to get touch up paint?
Has anyone found a good source for coach touch up paint? I’ve discovered a source for the “Artic White” portion, which is for the Mercedes Sprinter cab of my 2018 View .... but how about the coach colors?
I have all the DuPont codes that Winnebago publishes, but haven’t found who might be able to provide little bottles for touch up. I’d like some for keeping ahead of little boo-boos like rock chips.
Lichtsinn RV doesn’t sell it, unfortunately. That’s where I have often found various parts.
Thanks.

Most good paint shops can match whatever color paint you want them to, although I'm not sure how small the quantity could be. They have an instrument of some sort they place over the paint to get the mix information they need, if the numbers aren't available, or the paint has faded.

If your rig is painted there should be touch up paint in your black bag.

You could try contacting Winnebago or Winnebago Parts.
Contact Winnebagoind.com 1-800-537-1885
Or
Contact WinnebagoParts.com. Winnebago Parts is not a part of Winnebago but they buy and sell surplus parts from Winnebago. 1-800-933-7743.
Safe travels. JD

Our Navion with full body paint was painted by CDI in Forest City, Iowa. This is the company that Winnebago farms all of their full body paint MH's to. When we received our unit inside of the black document bag was a repair kit from CDI what had small touchup bottles of the various paint used on our coach along with a mix sheet showing where each go on our scheme. If you are talking about a full body paint unit I would think you could give Winnebago a call and get a copy of the sheet based on your S/N. I don't know how they handle their units with graphics tape applied.

I also have my paint codes, but since my MH is so old, I'm not going to pay $145/qt. for touch-up paint, of which all but 1-2 oz would never be used.
I found that Rust-O-leum now makes auto touch-up paint.($10) They have very close colors to my paint scheme so I bought 2 of the 3 colors to match the MH. I'm just waiting now for the temperature to rise to the minimum stated on the container before repairing rock chips and scratches.

Forget about CDI... They will not help you.
But you do need your CDI paint codes you can get from Winnegago.
Just make sure Winnebago gives you the right paint codes. I have a 2004 Itasca "Horizon" 40AD and they mixed my paint codes up in their files.
These people will put your CDI paint codes in a spray can:

Depends whether you need spray or brush touch-up. I called CDI 2 years ago and was able to order the entire touch-up kit for our coach. They were great to deal with and they send me all the colors + a bottle of clear coat. All are brush on, I believe the entire kit was $20-$30. Of course CDI would have needed to originally paint your RV.
