Why why why
I was wondering why Winnebago puts those folding shades or metal blinds in the galley area. I would much prefer MCD's in that area as they use them everywhere else in the coach. Why do you think this is?

If you get any stains on metal from food preparation or cooking you can clean aluminum.
Just my guess

Keep asking 'why', and scratching your head.....or just simply change them to what you prefer. That's what I did. A quick and easy upgrade.

I think if you have a gas stove top, you will get metal blinds because of the open flames.
I have an induction top and MCD's in the galley installed at the factory.

If you would please fill out your signature it would help us feel your pain or maybe even explain why Winnebago did what they did

It depends on the model. In my Winnebago every single window shade is a MCD, even in the kitchen window.
