Window seals,

Pn 150648-01-703 plug filler is what lichenstine rv parts department called it and unfortunately it is not longer available! My windows have some big gaps and I will not be surprised if water gets into the coach from this problem. Any chance someone has a fix for this?

Thanks
Rick and Leann

There are some window companies that handle things like fogged thermo pane windows. Might try contacting some of these specialty companies to see if they can help or point you in the right direction. The RV Geeks (Peter & John) had a video on replacing one of their windows and they did a full tour of the window facility and their capabilities.

Thanks, I suppose I could fill the gaps with black silicone...it is the exterior rubber strip that fills the gap on the window frame.

Maybe....

Try rv.steelerubber.com Steele Rubber products. They have an RV Weatherstripping catalog for free which has dimensions ans shapes of many window stripping.

Fyi, I have talked to Steele and they sent me a sample of 70-3824-255 which looked like the right profile, but unfortunately it's too small for the Atwood windows on our Winnebagos.

If you are talking about when the seals shrink and leave a gap, yes I filled mine in with black silicone, smoothed it with a wet finger. It's difficult to see the patch.

If you are talking about the gap where the water drain used to be covered with a plastic cover, they are widely available via the internet.
