Windshield Separating At Center Rubber Divider

Windshields were replaced long before i bought the MH 3weeks ago. The center Divider separating the 2 windshields is coming apart about 1/2 way up. It looks like the windshield popped out of the groove. I知 sure it happened traveling down our bumpy highways.
I tried with no luck to put it back in. I知 thinking about spraying WD-40 to maybe help put it back in the groove. I would love to be able to take it to a window installer but I知 500 miles from home with no Duck Tape.
This MH will be for sale soon as I get home. We are through RV地

On a Winnebago RV the windshield should be glued in, not just held by rubber gaskets. I would recommend taking it to an auto glass specialist.

I have an 06 Journey, not an 03 Itasca.

That said, we were experiencing one hell of a crosswind( it's Oklahoma) on a two lane road. Then I saw a very blocky high speed semi coming the other way. I slowed and pulled right as far as I could.

Heard a helluva a pop - then a flopping/beating sound.

Pulled over as soon as we could. The upper horizontal seal had broken loose for about two or three feet on the drivers side. That caused the loud fllapping sound on the roof.

Got out a ladder and taped it back in place.

Got home a week or so later. Researched it. Cleaned it all up, even treated window frame for rust and repainted(known concern on some Winnies), and retaped with double stick exterior grade tape. Reinstalled seal-had to pull seal a little for tension- and tucked it in under the side plastic piece.

Been fine for last four years.

If your windshield actually let loose- pls disregard my post- you have a much bigger issue.

Good luck. Safe travels.

Hi
I would try safe lite auto glass, they can come to you and I would let them decide if they can help you.
It's to bigger risk driving your rig home without securing that windshield,
Good Luck stay safe.
