If you disconnect power to the receiver and momentary disconnect power to the SWM power supply prior to powering up the Traveler it resets the SWM LNB allowing it to communicate properly with the Traveler controller. After the controller locks on its satellite then power up the receiver. Below are the steps I use.
1. disconnect power to receiver and SWM power supply.
2. reconnect SWM power supply
3. power up Traveler controller
4. After satellites are found re power receiver.
Good luck I hope this helps someone.

Is there any reason to leave the inverter on all the time? On second thought from the description of your coach I'll make the assumption that you have a residential refrigerator. Even so I would expect the inverter to be inactive when hooked to shore power.
Having said this is there any chance you could try either powering off the inverter for a moment when activating the satellite dish, or using a non inverter powered outlet for the dish?
On our Adventurer both the receiver and the dish are on inverter powered outlets, however we rarely have the inverter on. We've never had a problem getting either the receiver or the dish to power up correctly when the inverter is off. Come to think of it we've never used the inverter other than one time when the coach was new. We only used it then to be sure it worked properly.
