Winnebago Brake Recall

New member here: 2003 Winnebago Adventurer w-22 Brake Recall. 29K miles

VIN# 5B4MP67G033363359

I bought this RV new and never got this recall. Brakes failed over weekend, no problem just waited til they cooled and limped home. I need help in figuring out the next step in getting repair.
Thanks,
Gary

We owned a W-22 many years ago when the brake recall was first issued. We live near a GM dealer that also works on commercial chassis vehicles and they performed the recall work.

Sorry I can't help with the Winnie! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Gary: WELCOME to iRV2.com .

You are the owner of record at WCC, with a Grover St. address. The Bosch brake recall, 51101-C, was issued in September 2010, and I have no idea why you did not receive it, unless you had moved.

You are correct about the Bosch Brake recall NOT being completed on your 2003 W-20 chassis.

You will need to locate an ASC to have the recall performed at no cost to you for parts and labor to replace the 4 defective calipers. Apparently, you MAY have two choices:

ZIP 99501

Alaska Sales and Service
1300 East 5th Avenue Anchorage, AK 99501
(907) 265-7535
Fax: (907) 265-7507

OR

Cascadia International, LLC
1301 Post Road Anchorage, AK 99577
(907) 279-9591
Fax: (907) 451-9595

I suggest you call before you go and have the vin # handy because they will need that to verify the recall is still open to order the parts.

If you need further help or more info, please send me an email edgray1@gmail.com .
