I have not had any problem with it. It seems to me that if it is safe to use indoors why wouldn't it be safe to use in a wetbay. And look at all the people using 100 watt shop lights.

Its just there is a lot of plastic very close in the wet bay.

If you arent going to put water in the fresh water tank there is no reason to heat the wet bay. A couple gallons of RV Antifreeze is all thats needed to keep the grey and black tanks from freezing.

Very true, I was interested in what type of heater shell was using.
