Winnebago Destination/Itasca Latitude changing rear patio lights

Hi,

I thought I was finished my LED conversion (except for some puck and accent lights) until I noticed the patio lights on either side at the rear of the coach.

Has anyone changes these bulbs out for LED? I don't have a ladder long enough to reach these, is it possible to do this from the roof?

I must presume they are 1156 bulbs like nearly every other bulb in the coach.

Thanks,

Hi UFO,

I was able to change the passenger side one fine. The bulb was blown in the drivers side one. I put a LED in to it and it did not work, also would not work with a good original bulb.

Either its in a different switch or an issue with the fitting. I did not have any way to test if it was getting power.

Coach is going to dealer on tueday to get some other issues resolved and will add this to the list.

Don't you have a switch on the dash labeled docking lamps? Mine is located below the one for the defroster fans.

Did you change the porch light also?

I do indeed have that switch, is it just for the rear drivers light it activates or the patio also?

My porch light switch activates both on the passenger side. The docking lamp one only activates the drivers side.

I had already changed the porch light over the door but not the back, I have done both now.

I will try that switch so :-)

Manual mentions a utility light but not a docking light. Will check it out tomorrow.
