When i am not shore connected i want use my generator with my house AC. Doesn’t seem to run the AC. I have a 6000watt onan generator and it seems to be okay running the house. Should i disable the inverter/converter? Need to run the house AC when traveling in hot climaies.

Solved the problem by calling winnebago. Said to check the breaker on the generator. Sure enough it had been tripped. Resetting solved the problem. He gave advice about load should be off while starting generator. Give it a couple minutes then start the house AC. Also turn off load before shutting generator down.
