Winnebago Journey 34n delays
Has anyone heard anything about the continuing delays in the production of the Journey 34n? It is appalling that people with orders for these units are not hearing a thing from Winnebago. We're wondering if the coach will ever been produced.

It's like everything else - supply chain issues and labor shortages. Welcome to the brave new world (or is it just a rerun of Jimmy C and the late 1970s?). Just wait until the Fed cracks down on inflation as announced today and we get stagflation.

Have you tried contacting Winnebago or are you just assuming your dealer is not feeding you a line of crap?
You do know there are supply chain issues world wide right. This is a bad time in life to be needing something. I have been waiting for a control board for a minisplit ac system since August and a fan assembly for a chiller built in Pueblo since September.
How many new vehicles are sitting waiting for computer chips.
How many boats are waiting for outboard motors?
Welcome to 2021

Yes, we are well aware of the supply chain issues. I have tried contacting Winnebago and they tell us to contact our sales person. Our sales person cannot get information from Winnebago about what is going on and what the delay(s) are. The coach was ordered in July with an estimated delivery in December. Then it was February for delivery. Now we're hearing May, with no details regarding the delay. This is unacceptable.

So do you need WBGO or your sales man to tell you due to the supply chain issues( that your fully aware of) your new motorhome is not going to get completed in a timely manner?
Are you here to complain about WBGO or the fact nobody can get anything? What is unacceptable? Maybe you should jump up and down on your salesmans desk, scream profanities and demand instant results.

I feel your pain, we ordered a La z Boy lounger the first part of June, with a Thanksgiving delivery, now we are looking at March 2022. Seems like the whole manufacturing system is in distress.

Fred,
Foam for upholstery may indeed be the issue. Since Winnebago makes all of there furniture, no foam would be a problem. It is interesting that Newmar is delivering units to deals right now. Someone is getting the foam

I'm sure Winnebago wants to deliver that coach almost as badly as you want to receive it but it just won't happen until they start unloading those ships full of parts, materials and appliances.
I order equipment for customers every day and every day have to explain to others how their delivery has been delayed. I haven't got a delivery on time for over 6 months so we can only imagine what a coach builder must be dealing with. Sorry to hear you will be waiting on that beautiful new coach.

We ordered our Journey the first week of February and were told it would be late August delivery. Fast forward to December 1 ,no motorhome and we’re told delivery will be in February! I just don’t know what to believe anymore!!

Journey
Good luck with your Journey, but it looks like June or maybe even September before supply loosens up. Unsold 34N’s will not be available until at least that time. So, yours will be sooner than June or July. The 40’s may make September of next year, but not holding my breath.
I am looking forward to seeing them.

A little hope...
We ordered our Journey 1-9-21 and have endured the delays as well. However, this week our sales rep emailed with our light at the end of the tunnel. We were assigned a VIN! The latest production update we were given was in October; that production would start in December with a ship date in February. Indeed, this is still holding.
I too have been frustrated with the numerous delays and poor communication from Winnebago. I did eventually speak with a factory rep (in September and again in November) who reassured us that the Journey would indeed go into production. He indicated a problem with wall panels.
I suppose ours could still snag another delay. Still, this current schedule is very good news for all of us waiting. Hang in there!

Just an update to my earlier post. Today I received an email from my dealer saying my Journey now has a completion date of 2/25/22.

Good to hear. Sure seems like Winnebago has solved their production issues with the Journey. Hope it holds.
Just curious, has anything been said about the price changing?
