Never heard of a Winnebago 'Signature'--did you mean 'Sightseer'?

Thanks Pbd Blue for windshield information-that being said the 2002 winney had in the AD that the windshield on drivers side and the drivers side slide window have been replaced, I haven't driven the 700 miles to go see it yet but it may be something to take a real close look at- I was also told to see the condition of the front of cap where it is pop riveted --just a few more things to check-Tks Rich

Are they at an rv dealer or private owner?
We have the 2002 32v which has the 2 slides. When we were looking that was one of the things I wanted. Our RV has the Chev. engine which my husband wanted instead of the Ford.

Unfortunately we now belong to the leaky windshield club so that is something to look at and test for.(spray water hose at the top of the shield ) also look at the skylight above the shower. I like the bottom A/C and heat pump. Ours also has a steering system which makes it so easy to drive. We owned a 1986 winn chieftain that didn't have one and it was white knuckles in windy conditions. As other will suggest look at the age of tires, hrs. on generator, these can be expensive to replace.

P.S. We live in California but bought the RV in AZ. had the owner do a smog check in Cal. to make sure it passed our
smog requirements. Then when it did we left Cal. to look at it and if it was ok buy it. That was in Feb. 2014.

lots of looking and absorbing info from Winney owners-We ended up with a 2001 Winney Adventure 35U-42k miles 1yr old tires-very happy with purchase even though the dealer was a typical salesman-Aleko electric awning wires cut motor burned up-replaced $140 bucks-new water pump runs well but didn't pump water-wrong kind of pump (Agriculture for spraying) and plumbed backwards-old 90# tv replaced with smart tv, old crank antenna replaced with King OTA low profile-grey & black handles reverved & black gate valve leaking, replaced . We expected little things like this buying used and more or less AS IS drive pretty good have done CHF and fabricating my own rear trac bar-radio changed to except cd's -Over all stayed in our 20k budget and are real happy Rich & Aud

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the fact that the Adventurer may have the optional 50 amp power cord. It wasn't all that popular at the time, but we ordered that option on our 2001 Adventurer 32V. The 2001 Adventurer 32V was identical to the 2002 32V except the 2002 had an additional bedroom slide on the passenger side. The 2001 model only had a single large slide on the drivers side

Also if you look over the brochures you'll see the Adventurer had more options available (which may be on the coach you're looking at) and more items were standard that were options on the Sightseer.

As for dependability we put on over 110,000 miles on our 2001 Adventurer (on the F53 Ford chassis) with no engine problems. When we traded it off in 2013 the new owners kept in contact for a couple years. They had put on another 25,000 miles with no problems.
