2013 Tour tips
Has anyone tried one of these a/c hush kits? The testimonials are excellent but I'd believe one of you long before I believe any website.

If you are talking about the loud fan noise on the ACs, when we were at the GNR last year, AirExcel was driving around replacing all the fans blades that were loud. It took them about 20 minutes to replace my blades. At no cost. The blades are a different size. it made a big difference in the noise. Maybe give them a call and see if they will send the new blades out.
Just a thought

Bob, I've heard of the changes in blades and most people have told me they thought the noise was marginally better. This kit actually has a controller to slow fan speeds based on need as well as vibration mounts for the plastic housing.

Mach 8 noise reduction full kit

I just changed one this week and it is easily 50% percent quieter. We currently are living in the motor-home inside of our RV Barn, so it really amplifies the noise inside the barn and the difference was incredible. Will get the other 2 changed out this week.

Thanks audvid1. That's what I want to hear. Anything to make DWs tv easier to hear.

Need some help locating whatever I tripped.
I was testing current on the 110 outlet in the tailgate package bay on my 2014 Ellipse. It's the one next to the LED light switch. I was doing this while on battery power, not on shore power.
My boo boo was, I forgot to switch the positive lead on my volt meter from DC to the regular AC post. I poked the leads into the outlet and a small spark and click. I knew I tripped a circuit breaker, I thought. I've looked at all of them I know exist (inside and out) and none are tripped. I tried shutting the coach down and back on, checked again, nothing. Tried connecting to shore power, checked again turning breakers off and on etc, checked all pop out breakers, nothing. Did I trip a relay? A breaker I don't know of?
What have I done? What am I missing here? The outlet in first bay where the inverter is, is also dead.
Everything else seems to be functional.
Regards,
W.D

You popped a ground fault interrupter. All the outside and outlets near water are protected by GFI's. Probably the one in the half bath or rear bath. Check them you will find one popped. All you have to do is press in the reset button.

The ones in our coach have a green light on them. If you don't see the green light it needs to be reset.

Yup, same here.
This acted like a GFI, but I guess I never really thought the one in the bath would be connected to the one I was staring at. [emoji1]

To save money they use one on multiple outlets. The one in my old house had a bathroom GFI connected to an outlet in the back yard.

Yeah [emoji1] well, I guess it really doesn't matter where it is (in) the circuit, as it protects the whole circuit right?
I'll report back as soon as our thunderstorms let up.
Regards,
W.D.

It was the 1/2 bath GFI. I have learned, that is the one dedicated to circuits operational on house battery power.
All is well and I thank you!
Regards,
W.D.
