Belts and filters

Anyone have belt and filter model numbers handy for the Cummins 450 hp engine. I think I have most but want to double check.

Everyone is quiet - a new garage.

Hey there
This thread seems unusually slow. How is everyone doing. I can start off with we just got back from almost 3 months in Florida. It was a planned excursion but wasn’t planned was catching Covid. We are mostly OK now but obviously I recommend everyone avoid it.

We are planning a new motor home shed. Any suggestions?

So many update from anyone ?

Winnebago Tour Tips

Bill & Jenny
Sorry to hear you two caught Covid but, grateful to here you all are doing better.
I would say that most people say after building it, they wish it was bigger. Less cost to add a foot or two before rather than after.

We have been well, but tied up with work.
Wishing we could ours out of the garage.

I’m with Jesse. We built a 50 by 36 insulated metal building and I wish it was a couple of feet longer and that the roll up door was set off to the side and not centered. Glad you are feeling better.

What type of insulation did you use?
I would like to do that soon. I have a cross venting fan but that roof gets very hot in this Florida’s sun.

Thanks is advance
Jesse

I used the encapsulated fiberglass insulation that the metal building manufacturer sells. It is 4” thick and since it is basically inside plastic bags it makes a great vapor barrier. Not so important in the desert we live in but really good for humid locations.
If you have a metal building they do make insulation kits for existing buildings and it is nice since the plastic bag material is white and makes the shop bright.

Driver side mirror

A couple of months back I asked about the rear view mirror and tightening the bolt that attaches the head to the arm because the head would rotate while driving. The previous owner had glued the back cover to the bezel so I can’t remove it for access. I needed a plan B which worked.
We had to heat and straighten the box end, shave it down and cut a slot in it clear the wires that come thru the arm. Worked like a champ.
The Tekton wrench is really good quality, the band saw didn’t touch it so had to go to a carbide blade and a heavy duty belt sander.

Clear Sealant Question

I'm finding that the clear "Stone Masson Gutter & Siding" Winn # 094401-04-000 sealant that I've used in the past is not easy to find. What are people using these days? Anyone have experience (good or bad) with Geocel GC28100 Pro Flex RV Flexible Sealant - Clear?

Thanks
