Details? Where did you get it? Is it designed to fit the Tecma? Did you tie into both hot and cold lines in the half bath?

Winnebago Tour Tips

We are at 8 years and 40K miles.
Coolant was okay before we left on a six hour trip, 2 hours into out trip the low coolant warning light came on. I coasted to a safe spot and just before a came to a complete stop the engine went dead. Gauge was normal and nothing was leaking on the ground. Added coolant and the same thing happened an hour later. Added coolant and found a Freightliner dealer to purchase a new coolant cap (05-17223-003). 9 hours traveled since the new cap an no more issue.
May want to replace your coolant cap.

Jesse

Thanks Jesse. I had a similar issue (not as bad as a complete shut down) and Freightliner said my coolant cap was the wrong spec so it released pressure and my coolant when it didn't need to. They replaced the cap with the correct pressure release and so far so good.

Factory Service

Made a trip to Gaffney to get service done and couple of fixes. Was amazed at how much work they get done in 1 day and only had one hiccup that wanted to warn others of.

We had told them we needed 4 new tires and alignment done, and at end of first day, they said they got all work done, just waiting on tires, I asked when they were due in, and they gave me this odd look, and said he was going to ask me the same question. Apparently when we made the appointment to have tires replaced, they forgot to tell us, they don't sell tires and that they needed to be ordered by me and delivered to their service center and they would install and balance. So we will get tires done at home as we still have time on tires, just wanted to get them all done.

Here is what they did get done in 1 day.
1. Replace bad connector on Air Conditioner hose
2. Fix some of major air leaks draining down all air overnight
3. Replace Hub oil on front and tag axles
4. Replace oil in differential
5. Replace transmission fluid and filter
6. Flush and replace antifreeze in engine
7. Oil, fuel filter change and Lube of engine
8. Replace Air Filter
9. Service generator (Oil, Air Filter and flush replace antifreeze)
10. Replace Fan belt
11. Six Point weight

That’s great info, thanks

I have called them many times and even left a voice message. I haven’t heard anything from them. How did you get an appointment with them?

On my 2014 GD I have a leak in the roof of my passenger side slide out. During a heavy rain the other evening we saw the moisture dripping from the upper lip of our side window. I thought the window seal was leaking but it was not. We cleaned out the upper cabinet and found dripping from the corner where the wall and roof meet. There were drips along the full length of the slide. I can't figure out how the water is getting under the slide topper. Also, even if there was water on the roof of the slide it should not leak.
There is a mechanism mounted to the ceiling of the slide out that locks the slide for travel. I removed the cover inside and found a similar amount of moisture dripping but not so much that I can say it was causing my leak. On the outside under the topper there is a cut out for this mechanism. I can see around the edges but not down inside it. The edges appear to be sealed quite well.
Has anyone got some ideas for me to try.

You have two rubber slide sweeps/ seals, an inner and outer at the top of the Slideout. With the slide out look under the slide topper to see if the rubber seal is detached anywhere or has debris under it. Then with the slideout in inspect the inner seal as well.

I did check these seals mistakenly thinking they were the issue. I may not have explained it very well. The water is at the top of the wall in the corner where it meets the ceiling of the slide when it is out. You have to look in the cabinets to see where it is coming from. No water when slide is in. No water around the ends of the slide when out or in.
