Some times when I start my old Winne the wipers run for several seconds for no reason as soon as the motor starts they will just start wipping and they are not selected on. They alway go back to the parked possition and stop after 15 or 20 seconds and it is not doing it every time I start the engine.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

I had the same problem on an older Winnie. I found out that there was no ground strap from the frame to the engine! I found out when I had starting problems and (after replacing several starters) found that using a jumer cable directly to the body of the starter and frame, the coach started with gusto! I looked all over the coach for a busted ground cable and found there was none. I installed one from the frame to the starter and the problems with the wipers went away.

WOW if thats all it is that would be too easy to fix! I will check it and do the battery ground cable from frame to engine trick for sure!

Thanks for the tip.
