Wiring my WiFi antenna to the rear ladder.

I have a long range WiFi antenna I took off my 5er when I moved up to my 2006 Journey 39K. I would like to mount it on my rear ladder and place the router and NAS server in my rear closet.

Does anyone know of a good way to route the ethernet cable from the closet to the rear ladder? I could drill and grommet a hole in the rear wall of the closet or cabinet to the area between the rear wall and the rear cap. Or, should I go down through the floor and up between the rear wall and rear cap?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have wifi and ham radio cables running from passenger side rear closet down into rear most storage compartment below. From there exiting the rear wall of the storage compartment into the rear cap, then up the rear cap, exiting the rear cap, to the ladder.

If you have rearview camera you could have a look at the access point.

Steve, Go to any marine supply store like West Marine and get an antenna mount that attaches to a rail. That's how mine is installed. Chuck

Thanks for all the suggestions. I I'll be home in a couple of days and will check out the routing. I'm thinking the lower storage compartment might be the best. I'm near a West Marine and will go there tomorrow.
