Oregon State WIT Rally
September 25-28, 2008
Polk County Fairgrounds
Rickreall, Oregon

Once again we invite all of our WIT members and friends to make plans to head for Rickreall, Oregon to attend our 37th annual WIT Rally hosted by the Oregon Trail Winnies & Itascas (OTWI) state club supported by the seven Oregon Local WIT Chapters, many vendors, informative seminars, and our loyal Winnebago and Itasca dealers with their selections of coaches to tempt you!

Our theme for 2008 is "Oregon Vacationland" and we will do everything possible to make sure everyone attending feels like they are on a vacation in Oregon!

The rally will begin early Thursday morning with registration starting at 8:00 AM. Events this year will include many seminars, a Red Hat Tea, Arts & Crafts Classes, indoor and outdoor games, a Silent Auction , "got to have" products, raffles, games, great food, and whatever else we can think of to fill your days and evenings with fun, friendship, and useful information! One of the really fun highlights of the Rally is the Saturday PET PARADE where you dress up like your pet and give a brief talk about your pet's history and personality and how you and your pet interact. The Grand Finale will occur Saturday evening when Troubadour Tony Bachler and his "accomplices" return for a hilarious evening of fun and a sing-along. Of course, our Winnebago and Itasca dealers will have coaches on display and will be ready to offer great deals on their coaches.

Your rally fee includes four days, three nights camping with electric and water hook-ups (one-time dump available on grounds), rally bag, rally pin, dinners Thursday, Friday and Saturday, lunches Friday and Saturday, a full breakfast on Friday and Saturday with a continental breakfast on "Get-Away" Sunday.

In order to ensure allocation of appropriate space, vendors must pre-register by contacting OTWI Vice-President Perry McCart at 541-878-2091 or pmcii2@earthlink.net.

Rally Registration Fee until August 31st: one unit/two people is $100.00; one unit/one person is $75.00; each additional registered guest is $20.00; non-registered guests are $25.00 each per day. September 1st on: add $10 to each rate described above. Coaches arriving early will be accommodated with an additional nightly fee of $10.00, to be included with the standard rally fee at the time of submission of your registration form or paid to the Wagon Master upon arrival at the Rally.

Make checks payable to OTWI and send with your rally registration form to: OTWI, c/o Bryan Hoffman, Treasurer, 10336 N.E. Russell Ct. Portland OR 97220.

For those who are mobility challenged, handicap parking spaces are available in a limited number. We request that you register early and indicate your special needs on the registration form so that we can accommodate your needs. We cannot guarantee disabled parking availability if you do not indicate this need on your early registration form.

Directions: Rickreall is about 10 miles west of Salem. From the intersection of I-5 and Hwy 22 (Exit 253), drive west on Hwy 22 to Hwy 99, turn south onto Hwy 99 and drive a short distance to the main entrance to the Polk County Fairgrounds on the left.

For more information: contact Bob Schlapfer, OTWI President, at 541-772-3505 or res1934@charter.net.
