011 Dutch Star 4344 lost all power

We were on the road, Napinee to Houston, pulling off IS40 for the night, in Missouri. Instantly, no engine-lights-Pwr steer-locked in,-pass seat up slide over stair well locked out. Scary if we would have been in middle of I.S.
Short story, main Chassis fuse, [on the starter] broke loose. Freightliner was outstanding, diagnosed prob. within 30 mins. took 1+hr or so for wrecker to arrive, guy was outstanding. W/ info. from F-L Tech. problem found - bipassed fuse back on the go.
Not the end of the story, F-L wanted to "fix the problem" bottom line they moved the fuse to the Batt. post where you can see it now.
Not the end of the story, now from time to time we are blowing this fuse, usually at start. F-L is working on the problem.
Know one other coach having same problem, ours is 604297sn, other is 604303sn.
It is apparent a 'item' at Newmar, as we have made they & F-L aware of what is going on. After dark on a Hiway everything shuts down instantly, no lights-flashers can't get out until you "think it through" someone could rear end you for a hell of a mess.
Story is lot longer, thought some of you folk might want to think about this.
otherwise 604297 & 303 are happy, feel "we" have this problem in control.

This is a serious safety issue and liability issue for Freightliner and Newmar. I hope this is rectified properly very soon.

I know somebody who owned a Porsche Cayenne that kept stalling while at speed. Finally, the owner had to bring up the safety, liability aspect. Porsche picked up the vehicle and gave the owner a full refund.

We had a similar issue in that the fuse for the ecm kept blowing. Engine would just shut down. After getting towed, dealer spent 4 hours looking for a short and could find none. With Spartan and Newmar blessing we ended up running a new fused power line from the battery to the ecm.
