02 DSDP Rear Observation Camera Upgrade ?

This is my first question on the forum so if I mess up, please forgive me. I am in the process of upgrading my rear observation system to color to a ToughCam 1 by ASA. Everthing was going well untill I tried to find a place to run the cable up from the engine compartment into the space between the rear cap and the interior wall. Has anybody accomplished this, and how did you approach this obstacle? Thanks for what ever help I can get.
This is on an 02 Dutch Star 3891

Hello , George, your post looks fine , Welcome to iRV2.
Sorry I can't help with your issue , my 99 DSDP has a 6" open space between, the back wall and the end cap; no B/R slide.
Have you had the existing camera out ? Could be that checking the factor routing of the cable might provide the best clue for replacement.
Good luck.
