Yes, but not to the Automatic Transfer Switch. That is before the inverter pass thru switch, which is just another ATS.
When the inverter sees no incoming power it transfers off the shore/generator line to the inverter made power and only supplies the inverter feed breakers.
There is no back feed to the ATS.
