04 Mountain Aire turn signal assembly issue

Replacing RH turn/park lens assembly. The old assembly is held in place but self tapping sheet metal screws. LH side has same screws. These fastners are obviously not OE and have been added to the lens after removing the original pins. These fastners have stripped out the plastic holes in the assembly. I assume originally these pins push into some sort of rubber grommet?

Any advice or pictures of the back side of the assembly with a factory install will be appreciated.

Pics to follow soon as I figure out why I can’t post pics from my iPad!
