'07 Essex Dash Air Fan Replacement

Have a really noisy dash air fan - it's bearings are probably done after 14 years.

Has anyone done this replacement? I've looked around with the generator slide out, but didn't see the fan housing so I assume it will mean taking the dashboard apart.

Any tips would be appreciated.

If you look in this link to the EVANs section you will find pictures and info on what to do.
Also have this link for ESSEX Owners.

On both my Dutch Stars, that blower motor was inside the coach and requires the lower section of the dash, in front of the passenger seat, be removed. I was almost able to get it out, by removing the drawers in the center of the dash and reach in and remove the bolts. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough space to back it out before it struck the backside of the dash. So check via the drawers, if you have some.
