Hi! Ready to pounce on my first Newmar. Found two 3910's with Cummins 400 HP. One is a 2007 the other is 2008. $10k difference in price. Here's the question is the 2008 with Comfort Drive worth me going over my budget?

I believe Comfort Drive is a great feature, but at $10K, I doubt I'd spend that much for it.

However, it's a newer coach, so the $10K is not just for the CD. The newer coach usually has more standard features/options and may have more options that the original owner ordered.

I suspect you can make that $10K difference go away without too much trouble.

There may be a difference in engines been though they are the same size. I think the 2008 had a 400isl and might have the new EPA requirements. Not so sure the 2007 had the same engine, only the same size. However, they made a few early 2008 with the pre-EPA requirements. Unless I am wrong, I believe the new EPA requirements had a negative impact on MPG. Both 2007 and 2008 have experienced exhaust manifold warping so you may want to inquire whether either had it replaced. The replacement cost was close to $1,200. Could be that one or both have had them replaced. Symptoms are a noise similar to a fan belt squeal.
