Has anyone experienced any problems with this system? Did this system replace the HWH Leveling System? Any comments, good or bad?

Hi -

I am on my maiden voyage today with my new 2008 Kountry Aire, with it's $4,000 HWH hydraulic jacks. When we went to the dealership to buy the 5th wheel about a month ago, one of the jacks was leaking hydraulic fluid all over the ground, and the dealer had it replaced (bad weld we were told). We posponed buying the trailer at the time until it, and a few other issues, were fixed.

So, we finally left the dealership this afternoon with our new trailer, and earlier this evening we had trouble getting the jacks to extend when we tried setting up in our cmpground where we've stopped for the night. So we're still hitched to the truck over night, hoping to see the light of day in the morning (I'm seeing a bit of red tonight).

Sorry about the rant...now let's hear from someone about their Equalizer Leveling System.

John

Could you please explain what the Equalizer Leveling System is.

Our Torrey Pine must be a bit old ('06) for we don't have that feature (as well as a lot of other ones!)

John, I had a leaking jack also on my coach when I picked it up dealer never notice the red fluid in foot plate. It had a loose control fitting on top of jack. Make sure you have a full reservoir tank with all jacks retracted.
