08 Ventana 3330 - Feedback Requested

We are considering the purchase of an 08 Ventana 3330. We like the idea of the shorter (33' 10") DP. We also like the fact that this coach has the 750 ft/lb engine and the 3000 Allison instead of the 660/2500 combination. Does anyone have any experience with this coach?
With only a 190" wheelbase is the ride and handling OK. I know it is a subjective thing but I will not have the chance to drive it for a couple weeks.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Jeff

Ventana

Hello jjr4,

We have an 07 Ventana 3933. We love the floor plan and the way it handles.
A couple of items to watch for:
1.) wood laminate flooring- we ordered this as an option- it has warped and lifted. The laminate Newmar uses in the Ventana is very susceptable to humidity. Newmar replaced some pieces under warranty, but now that it is off warranty, we are just putting up with it until we replace all the flooring, probably with tile.
2.) Galley slide out has been a problem even before we took delivery. A suggestion. When you take delivery, run the slides in and out multiple times to make sure they all work properly before you leave the dealership.

Happy Trails
Peter K

Peter K,

Thanks for the feedback. The one we are looking at does not have the laminate flooring (lucky). I will take your suggestion on the slides and check them closely.

Thanks again. Great to have real feedback from an actual owner.

Jeff

Have had laminate flooring for three years(45,000 miles) with no problems-maybe just one coach built poorly.
