1 st. impressions - 2013 Ventana 3434

If you are placing a factory order, take the time to understand each of the options!! I thought that the EMS system was a fancy control for the A/C. WRONG. Would have ordered this optional electrical protection.

As a first timer, the 6 hours of orientation was very informative and wish that we had recorded it for reference.

The fit and finish of the Newmar is excellent.

A few minor problems were resolved immediately; 2 security lights and a steering wheel adjustment. Should add that we did find a small section of paint overspray under the clear coat.

My first RV drive was 150 miles from the dealer, set the Comfort Control Steering on high and it tracked nicely. Won't get into the feeling of driving it over the Sunshine Skyway!!!!!WOW

Without the Hydronic system option, the propane furnace is loud and will wake you up during the night. We'll use the up graded A/C and heat pumps in Florida.

Since you can not get the all electric option in the 3434, we could not upgrade the fridge, but can say that the Norcold set on #4 was very cold and knowing its history, hope it stays this way.

Again, some factory pictures.

Gary,

From your previous post on using bluetooth to steam Pandora, just want to add that I do not use Sirius/XM, did not order the optional radio, and do not have the bluetooth feature. We connect the iPhone directly to the radio with a USB cable. Depending on your radio selection, you may want to confirm with Newmar sales.

Wow! Gorgeous-
I think we viewed your coach on the finished line at Newmar when we were there on the 5th this month. That is probably the best floorplan in a short coach I have seen for watching tv which we do a lot of. The only reasons we've decided on the 3634 are we really wanted the residential fridge and we occasionally have another couple with us. We thought that floorplan would make it difficult to get to the door to walk the dog early with the other couple sleeping on the sofa bed.

If you saw this color scheme at Newmar, it had to be mine because it was a custom order paint and I didn't receive final pictures of the unit till the 4th.

We love the floor plan and think that it'll be great for the 2 of us. I can always step over the grand kids.

Thanks Las & Sue

Lass-
I didn't realize the paint was custom. Where we saw it the light wasn't too good and I thought it was the Monterey paint scheme. We didn't care for the Monterey until we saw your coach then we said "this looks really nice" and began to consider ordering ours in the Monterey.

The Ventana exterior started as the standard 2013 NAPA, replaced the white with Cajun Spice Gold Met. and than flipped all 4 colors to their current locations. The interior remained as standard NAPA.

Great looking paint job lass, Newmar can do wonders.
Not sure what EMS is this early in the morning but I hope you have a surge protector of some type to protect the electronics in your coach.
Many happy safe miles in that beautiful paint job.
