10 Watt Solar panel fuse in Bay Star

I am trying to find the in-line fuse for the 10 watt solar panel in my 2022 Bay Star 3226. There is nothing in the owner's manual, nothing in the electrical information provided by Newmar and essentially nothing on Newgle. (There is one article in Newgle and it is about this fuse in a DP. They even have a picture of it right next to the Positive post of the chassis battery. I checked the positive pole of my chassis battery and all three of the wires leading off that post and none of them have an in-line fuse. (None of them appear properly sized for a 10 watt panel either. Does anyone know where the darned fuse is?

Thanks!

It will be an inline ATC fuse located in the electrical box the one with the clear cover under the hood hidden behind the air filter box. Look for a red inline fuse holder (there are 2 or them) it will have a label marked “solar” on it.

Thanks! It didn't appear on the description sheet for that box so I assumed it was not there. Didn't realize that there are in line fuses there.

I'll try to get up to the coach today to check it out...

Once again, many thanks for the info. It was right where you said it would be. Do you happen to know what the other in line fuse in that compartment is for? It says something like chassis voltage on it.

Thanks,
<TED>

Glad I was able to help with the location. The second fuse is also fed from the chassis battery and is called out on the print as "Chassis voltage yellow" I don't know exactly what it feeds but I suspect, and this is only a guess that it feeds the chassis voltage to the Digi-Level tank/battery monitor panel for display of the voltage. The fuse is rated at 5 amps so I can't imagine it feeds anything significant.

OK, that makes sense. I was having a hard time figuring out why chassis voltage would need an in-line fuse...

Thanks again!
