12 Volt Switch

I recently noticed that the 12 volt switch at the entry door does not turn off the step lights or the lights above the driver and co-pilot seats. I thought it turned off everything 12 volt. Anyone know what else it doesn't turn off?
Thanks

Those and the automatic steps run off the starting battery in mine. Threre's some parasitic loads on that too such as the radio and probably engine computer just as there are in any vehicle these days and should be pretty low (10's of mA). Unless you want to reset your radio memories, start from scratch with your engine operating parameters and take a chance of falling out of the coach if the steps don't come out then I'd probably leave it connected. Per usual SOP if you're going to park it a long time you can disconnect the starting battery and/or connect a maintenance charger.

Correct answers and BCO is for your house battery bank disconnect, if you have shore line plugged in always leave BCO on so BIRD OR B.I.M. charging systems keep all battery banks fully charged.
This link will explain it all.

I don’t know what the DSDP specifics are, but in my New Aire there is still several amps worth of draw even with the battery disconnect switch engaged. That disconnect switch does not shut off everything. Be careful when leaving the coach unplugged for long periods of time even with that switch engaged.

I don't typically ever turn off the 12 volt switch. Thanks for the link 007. I have some reading to do.
