‘19 DS Not Total Electric

Looking at ‘19 Dutch Star 3717 that has the propane cooktop(Not total Electric).
Wondering if the unit may be pre wired for an electric cooktop and other items that come with the total electric package.
Thanks for your input.

I bought a 2014 DS that was the same way. Everything was electric, with hydronic heating. The only propane item was the cooktop. I removed the propane unit and installed the same True Induction cooktop that Newmar uses. I also removed the huge propane tank, framed in, and enclosed the propane tank bay, adding another good size bay on a smaller coach. It also took a lot of weight off of the driver's side front axle. I sold the tank for $300.00 to a guy for his cabin.

Here is a link to how I did it.....

Thanks DS Don. I read your posts on the changes. Great info. And I am looking into this trade further.

Thanks for your input.

Induction cooktops just plug into a 120V receptacle. No special wiring needed.-Paul
