Update.... Still been hunting around trying to find where the water coming under the rear wall is from. Been applying all sorts of sealing products and every time I water test.... still have water weeping through.
In preparation to install wheelwell liners I cut out the sewer hose storage pipe in the drivers side wheel well. That gave me a much better view of what was in there and a few more spots to seal. Then, this afternoon, with the light of a cloudy day (no hard shadows), I think I found where the water is coming from.
There are three sheets of tin on the floor (bottom side) of the coach from the back wall of the basement (where my water leak is) to the engine firewall. I saw today that the staples Newmar brilliantly uses to fasten the tin to the floor above were half out and there are huge gaps between the sheets.
I'm betting that when I hit that area with my water hose during testing, water has been getting underneath that open tin sheet and running down the wall.
Looks like I have to remove the rear wheels to get access to those joints- they are going to be impossible to reach otherwise. I plan on using some small screws to refasten the sheets to the floor and then use something like eternabond to seal it up. I'll probably mount the wheelwell liners at the same time.
Fingers are crossed this is it and I'm done with this miserable project.
