2001 Mountain Aire 4095 MADP remodel

I want to do some upgrades to the inside of my Mountain Aire. I'm pretty handy, but short on experience. I plan to replace the ceiling insulation. Not seeing how the cabinets are attached. Looks like I need to remove them to get to the ceiling panels. Any help out there?

Welcome to iRV2 and the vintage Newmar owners club .

I'd have to have a real good look at my ceiling panels , but I believe they go across the top of the wall ; so removing them maybe problematic.
Ceiling panels also continuous over all interior walls.

A while back a member posted pictures of his roof replacement , and the pictures he posted may help .

Maybe some of the info you require is in the " Sticky " posts at the top of the list in the Newmar owners forums .

"Quick tips and easy mods ", have links to just about every repair members have undertaken on their Newmars

Why are you replacing the insulation?
Water leak?
What roof type does yours have? fiberglass? Rubber?
Since you are asking about dropping cabinets - are you considering dropping the interior ceiling liner?
I did this on mine. it's not an easy job.
Search for "Return from the Dead" or something like that.
