2002 Kountry Star DP 3677 engine access cover

Trying to get access into the engine compartment to get to the air filter so I can get the numbers off of it and get a replacement. I've pulled the 5 screws from the panel in the bedroom, but it will not come out. Is there a release mechanism or something else I need to do?

Are you really sure the top access is needed to change the air filter? Usually on a DP coach the air filter can be changed from below.

I've been under it. The filter is on the top of the engine, it is also a rear radiator engine so no access from the back either.

I was able to figure it out, didn't realize it was an L shape and you had to take 2 bolts out of the floor too. Got into it to get the part number for the 200+ dollar air filter

NakeDiesel, go to filterbarn.com and cross reference your part #. I have never paid that much for a filter.
