2003 Kountry Star DP - Please help me identify strange button under dash

Hello,

This is my first post. I recently became the owner of a 2003 Kountry Star Diesel Pusher and there is a strange button under the dash (on the passenger side near the glove compartment) that I haven't been able to identify. Today it was making a sparking/clicking sound and it concerned me because I don't know what it is. Please see attached image and let me know what it is if you can. I've searched the internet for hours with no luck finding answers. I would push it, but I'm afraid that it's for the ejector seats! It could also be a fuse housing of some kind judging by its appearance. Any help is very much appreciated!

Thank you

First off welcome to the forum, funske
Here is a Brochure and a Owners Guide.
A search of your question. Plenty of answers for drivers side nothing in particular for your question.
It feeds through a large enough hole under there what is it under the glove box? Some older coach's had a reset of engine control if coach heavily braked to reset but not that large and was marked with print.
Maybe someone will see this post with my answers and help us out.

Looks like a cable end that would plug into something, knurled part is probability a lock nut that is loose accounting for the noise you hear.

Our coach came with a CB handheld radio. Plugged into something like that.
Is the bottom end smooth or does it have female pin inserts?

Until your post, this thread had me scratching my head. You triggered me to go out and look and this is what I found:

Yes, it has female pin receiver holes just like in the photo posted by USMCRET directly above this post. I guess the mystery is solved and it's a CB radio outlet (?) ... The problem I'm having with it is that it started sparking suddenly for no reason. If I put my finger up to it a little spark will literally arc to my finger. I'm guessing it's not dangerous (unless my coach fills up with propane of course!) because the spark doesn't hurt my finger, but I would like to disable it. I guess I will search around for the CB Radio fuse and remove it.

Thanks for the help and responses everyone! It seems the mystery button has been identified as a CB Radio connection!

Yeah, that shouldn't be sparking. Bad stuff.
