2003 Mountain Aire

We have just purchased our first RV, a 2003 Mountain Aire 3778 (gas engine) and can't wait for our first trip! Curiously, during our research I found that this specific model (seemingly) only came with the table and chair option in the dining area, yet ours has bench seating. I do not believe this was an after market upgrade as we are only the second owner and there seem to be no other obvious owner changes. I wonder, has anyone ever seen another gasser (it was an option in diesel) with bench seats?

Also, if anyone has any information or tips on this fine coach I would appreciate your sharing. Oh, and we are aware of the recalls and have verified with Newmar that they were completed.

Mountain03! Newmar has always done many custom modifications on it's coaches. Also most Newmar coaches are custom-ordered, not bought off the lot. It's very likely that the original owner custom-ordered it with the bench seating ILO freestanding table and chairs, especially since it was an option in the DP model.

Welcome to irv2 and the Newmar forum, Congratulation on your purchase of your MACS.

Here is a Brochure and Owners Guide for you.

You will find in the BROCHURE the options that were offered before the coach was built and what the previous owner selected.

You can if you have the Vin # or coach build number, may find number on sheet in a cabinet, you input the number into the COM_NET link and you will get the original build sheet of the motor home.

The Workhorse W-22 chassis had a recall on the brake system which should have been done by now and dealer should have checked if it was done.
You will find out more info in the Workhorse forum.

You will find your fusing under panel on dash which is in this link.
All other coach fusing will be next to your load center box.

Down in my signature below are three links that will have many more in related items for your Newmar.

I have owned coach's with dinette seating and now have table and chairs. As said previous owners decision.
If you want something like this you can find out how to do in QT's 1 & 2.

Enjoy the forum and welcome to the Newmar family.
