2004 dsdp 4012 cruise control not working

The cruise is on the smartwheel will not turn on, is there another switch? In the basement under driver is all the fuses for it , is there anything I should be checking? Wiper and other functions on smartwheel work.

Mark , your post asks questions about a different RV than your info.
Is the coach new to you ? Has the cruise ever worked since you've had the coach?
Freightliner or Spartan Chassis? Cummins or Cat ?
Some chassis, the cruise control won't turn on, while the engine brake switch is on.

New to us , 2004 Newmar 4012, 370 hp cummins, Spartan Chassis. I bought it last week, called past owner and he only owed it a year and it did not work for him.

Not a problem; but if you take a min. and from the user control panel , fill in the info on your coach, in a signature line , it will automatically appear at the bottom of your posts. See the " Edit Signature " box on the left side.
I don't have any experience with the Spartan Chassis version of the smart wheel; and I don't know if Spartan maintains a " Help line " the way Freightliner does.
