Ron, start by removing the plastic interior cover. Once that's out you will see pretty much everything. I suspect the heavy plastic covering that is supposed to keep the motor dry has come loose. If that's what the problem is this should be a pretty easy fix.
I also had a leak in the drivers window but I also had a leak in the plastic basin that is supposed to catch the water and drain it out thru the floor. So I had to remove the entire window mechanism. In order to remove the window mechanism, if memory serves me well, you have to remove all the exterior fasteners along with the interior ones on the motor frame. It looks like a scary job, but if you have time and a garage/barn to keep things dry, it's not too bad of a job.
