2005 newmar essex door
I'm fighting with the door(s) on my Essex. I "believe" the screen door handle is not correct, which seems to be keeping the main door from opening freely after closing. (too much pressure on the outer door). If anyone could possibly take a picture so I can compare and get it corrected. I did replace the worn out holder with the replacement from Integrity. I attached pictures of my handle. I believe this set up was used on many coaches. Thank you....

I don't believe I have a picture of my handle , in my computer , I'll try and transfer one from my phone and post it .
The inner and outer handles have to line up and the screen door to door frame latching arm has to sit 90 degrees to the right of the handle when viewed from inside the screen door .
My 99 DSDP has a different hold arm for the door to screen for the screen to latch to the door.

OK after a closer look at your pictures ; there are enough differences from my DS that pictures of my set up wouldn't help .
So I downloaded your pictures and put some arrows on and I hope this will help.
The handle ( red arrow ) should be inside the " pocket " ( yellow arrow ) to allow the screen door to follow the entry door when it is opened and the inside handle should be aligned with the red marked handle when that handle is in the pocket .
The handle when operating from the inside should rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise , to release the screen from the entry door and hold it to the door frame , when the entry door is opened .
EDIT: If your entry door gets very difficult to open when it sits in the sun , there may be a differet adjustment required .

Should you still be having an issue , please post pictures of the original parts , along side of the replacement parts , and we'll try and get things straightened out.

I wanted to update this thread for anyone who may have an issue. I bought a replacement piece that affixes to the main entry door, and the screen door handle lays in so the screen door moves with the main door. The bottom of the piece is too thick so the handle would not lay properly, causing the metal piece that goes behind the door frame to fully retract in the screen door, causing it not to close. I actually found a replacement from a 3D printer company and works perfectly. I'm going to reach out to the company that I bought the first one from to advise. I've bought a good many things from them with no issues. You can see the difference in picture.

Good morning. Wish i saw this sooner. PTL Engineering manufacturers your entire door assembly, same for our 2006 Essex. They have many components for your door and their customer service is wonderful.
