2006 Mountain Aire Fridge swap out

I just returned home from the shop after they installed my new Samsung refrigerator to replace my Norcold 1200. Once home I discovered it wasn't working off the inverter. Works fine with shore power and gen set.Trouble shooting I discovered the outlet that the fridge is plugged into doesn't work off inverter power. This what the Norcold was plugged into. Can I fix this myself or should I run back to the shop (80 mile) round trip.

The fridge right now is in your main load center and you must have a second one for your inverter.
If they are adjacent to each other and there is enough wire it may swing into the other.
Not sure why you want to do that if the fridge is cold to start with it will stay cold to your next camping area when you plug in again with shore power.
You will need to plug in or run Gen so slides will move out which you should do anyway.
The Norcold only used the 110 for the electric elements when plugged in and not using LP gas.
Here is a link so you can look up the TSB's on your year coach and you can also get your Brochure and Owners Guide for your coach, just follow directions.
All the links below in my signature have info for your coach.

I remember something about this when we did the Samsung install. Going from memory, the Norcold should have had 2 plugs, one for the fridge and the second for the ice maker. Your installer may have used the wrong receptacle. Move the current plug to the other receptacle.

Pretty sure that's all we had to do. Let us know.

the inverter goes thru a sub panel off the main panel. Any decent electrician should be able to move the refrig circuit to the sub panel. You just need to weigh to pro's and con's (time and money) of having a local electrician do the work or returning to the installer. Try IASS's suggestion first.
