2006 Newmar Essex dishwasher

The original dishwasher has performed lack luster at best from the start, anyone changed out the unit and have recommendations.
Much Appreciated,

I have had the same performance with mine as Stretch. I have owned 2 motor homes with them with zero issues. I had 2 FP dish washers on my boat, stacked. One leaked from brand new. I had it removed twice by a FP dealer service company in Florida. The final result was the frame was warped. Appliances in a boat don't get great warranty coverage as they may have sustained a heavy ride in bad seas.

I decided to replace them with a Kitchen Aid. The standard sized Kitchen Aid fit the entire installation space of both FP units. My point of telling you this is, there may be no makes that can replace a single FP install space.

Regardless of my nautical issues, the FP dish washer works well.

There used to be one other company that sold drawer-type dishwashers (Maybe Kenmore), but it appeared to be the exact same dishwasher just rebranded to a new name. Haven't seen one lately.

Mine failed. Threw it in the dumpster and installed sliding stainless pots/pans drawers. Used the wood panels from the dishwasher as a drawer front. Love the storage !

I wish I knew if mine worked well. I don't know how to use it and have no manual. Anybody know where I can get one for a kitchenaid dishwasher? Sorry to hijack your thread

Mine works great. Run it every night. I have taken much of it apart and cleaned as much as I could.

Make sure to run hot water through kitchen faucet before starting.

Prior owner had something repaired a few years ago.
