If you have a 2006 Newmar Ventana do you know where the slide controllers are located?

Still no luck. I wish someone could help you but they must be in a different location than where I told you that mine are located. Have you called Newmar. They were very helpful to me on some information I needed, even though I am not the original owner.

Newmar is supposed to be looking for them now, but I guess they put them in lots of different locations andthis is so old that no one knows where they are. I would have thought they would have had a build sheet info or a blueprint type paper of older motor homes to tell them. We thought we were doing pretty good to be able to afford a 2006!

This is the control from your parts catalog and this is the bracket its mounted on.
I do not see a sealed box to be mounted on chassis rail the bracket has to be in a compartment under floor maybe up high in compartment near the slide area.
Look above the chassis rail high in compartment may even need a flashlight.

We have a 2007 and they are in the pass thru compartment on the driver's side.

also, DH had a problem where one controller got to hot and melted some plastic. He disassembled trimmed off where the plastic melted preventing proper contact and all has worked fine the last 2-3 years.

Finally! Rick in customer service figured out that we have relays not controllers that move the slide outs-whole different ballgame. There are 12 of them and ours are located in the bay where the outside TV is. Very easy access. Replaced 1 relay and everything is working now. We want to thank Rick at Newmar and everyone on the forum for the help.
