2007 Dutchstar slideout controller

I have a 2007 dutchstar and my slides are manual locks.Iíve owned it for 3 years.I have burned out 3 controllers on my drivers living room slide. It always fails when going out.I just ordered my 4th controller.Any ideas to solve this problem? It always goes in fine.
Thank you,Tom

The only thing that comes to mind is some sort of short or bad ground. Not sure what could cause multiple controllers to "burn out" other than bad electrical. I would trace and check the hot line in and out, as well as the grounds.

2007 slideout controller

I have noticed the 4 ground wires coming from all 4 controllers and connected together to a bolt to the frame in the bay with the pegboard.Going thru some old posts intelatek says the ground wires are supported to be connected to a ground on the battery and Newmar does not do that.Iím thinking of doing that.
