2007 Essex converting from ccc to ccc2 - Communication cable question

I have a 2007 Newmar Essex that I am currently de-plexing. I have 3 Penguin II heat pumps that were backdated with CCC boards.

I have replaced all the old boards with the CCC2 boards and the temperature sensors that came with the heat pumps. I have a Micro-Air 350 thermostat and a new CCC2 control unit for zone 3.

The communication cables for CCC2 appear to have one end flipped rather than straight through like CCC uses. I cut off the connector from the thermostat to zone 1 and crimped in a RJ11 with the wires flipped.

Question: Is the cable to the thermostat the only one that should have one end flipped or are all the cables between the zones flipped on one end as well?

Disregard. I figured it out after some more digging.

Some post indicated that when you move from CCC to CCC2 one end of the RJ11 communication cable needs to be flipped. The drawings from Dometic make it look that way too although, the wiring diagram under the photo of the cable does not indicate a flip.

I replaced the CCC boards in my Penguin IIs with the original external temperature sensors and control boards. My Micro-Air 350 would not boot so I assumed it was the cable.

In the end I discovered that my cable tester shorted the 12volt fuse located in the stool room for the AC control. I put the cables back to the way they came, replaced the fuse and now I see zones 1-3. Now I just need to run 12v to the back heat pump and run the new inside temperature sensors and the HVAC will be E-Plex free.

Of note for those just starting this project. When you look at the control board it appears that an internal thermostat has already been run. Really it's just a jumper cable from the control board to the blower cavity. That will make it that much easier to run the new temperature sensor. The Dometic communication cables connected at the control board are extenders as well with a couple located in the blower cavity.
