2007 Essex wiper arms

I tried calling Newmar parts but could not get connected. Does anybody know where Newmar get wiper arms for the 2007 Essex. I need a passenger wiper arm.

You can find them at most dealers...just measure the length (prob. 32") and go in and ask. I also found some 28 in. Michelin blades at Walmart did the job very well on my old coach.

Guess he means a pantograph arm. Are they the Wesco brand? Google this and should find a couple bus parts places with them.

Your 2007 Essex has the same wiper arms as my 2007 Mountain Aire, I have replaced both arms and pivots..Since then I have replaced the blades once. Re-torque your wiper arm nuts once a year to prevent wallowing out of the arm by the pivot. Arms, wiper blades and pivots can be obtained at Diesel Equipment Company. Contact page is here:Contact Diesel Equipment Company of Greensboro North Carolia Ask for Diesel Equipment Company BA1000V Wiper Blade, HD 39.5", Vented, for the blade about $42. The arm part I do not have, but can be had thru Diesel Equipment Company. Good luck!

p.s. I talked to a representative at Diesel Equipment that helped design the original wipers system for the the one-piece windshields for Newmar. Very helpful man.

After replacement, do the wipers stay on the windshield at highway speeds? It's been a common complaint that I too share. It's the worst wiper system I've had. I keep a coating on my windshield now though and rarely ever have to use the wipers, but I wonder if it was redesigned at some point.

The newer wiper part number is Vented, lighter design and seems to be a little better (less lifting) on the driver's side, where it was most needed. If ordering new arms ask for heavier spring in the driver's side arm, that helps too. If an newer Essex owner can weight in, has the wiper design changed in later years?
