2008 Kountry Star Slide Out Auto Locks Not Working!

I know there are a ton of issues with the Newmar slide out auto locks. The slide is in but the locks are not deployed on the drivers side bedroom slide. When I press the button the voice is heard and the right side motor starts, the left side does not. Although the right side motor is spinning I'm thinking there is a lockout feature that is keeping right side lock from deploying. The slide does deploy and return to the closed position.
Not sure if this makes a difference but the slide was open during a brief rain storm on Saturday night.
Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated, I'm trying to avoid a trip to Newmar dealer. On a do-it-yourself scale of 1-10, I'm about a 5!

Thank you!
